• He first got involved in motorsport in 2003 after visiting an indoor karting track at Batley in West Yorkshire.

2008 - Ginetta Junior Championship (BRDC Stars of Tomorrow), finishing 4th overall and achieving 3 race wins, two podiums and one pole position.
2007 - Karting – KF2 and Junior Rotax. 3rd at 1st round of ABKC Winter Series (KF2) and winner of BRDC Stars of Tomorrow Shoot-out.
2006 - Karting – Junior Rotax. 3rd in BRDC Stars of Tomorrow Championship.
