  • Steven says he is just competing at Thruxton as a one off, although he is no stranger to Clio Cup racing having raced in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2008.
  • His first win in Clio Cup racing came at Thruxton in round six of the 2006 season and his best results in 2008 also came at Thruxton (two second places).

2008 - ELF Renault Clio Cup, finishing 33rd overall (did not compete in all races)
2007 - No racing
2006 - ELF Renault Clio Cup finishing 11th overall after missing the last six rounds. One win and three other podiums
2005 - ELF Renault Clio Winter Cup finishing 2nd, with a win and a 4th place to miss the title by two points. ELF Renault Clio Cup with Boulevard Team Racing, finishing 9th overall. Five top-six finishes in consistent year
2004 - ELF Renault Clio Cup with his own Team Gatecrasher outfit – taking its name from the renowned Sheffield Nightclub. Finished 9th overall with a best result of 2nd at Silverstone on the weekend of his 30th birthday. Contested the 2004 Winter Cup with Boulevard with nothing but bad luck - best result of 7th but failed to finish two of the four races
2001-3 - Competed in the MGF Cup with fantastic success, winning the title three years on the bounce 2001, 2002 and 2003 for the Jamie Hunter Racing outfit – named after Steven’s deceased brother. Entered the ELF Renault Clio Winter Cup and was immediately on the pace, taking a debut category podium during round one at Donington Park. Followed this up with a podium at the final round at Croft to secure 3rd position overall
