Interesting facts - Alex has never done any racing before the 2009 season but has done various track day events in both the UK and Europe. His passion for single-seaters came from watching F1 and competing in a Formula Palmer Audi track day.
- In 2004 he set up his own publicly traded oil company, which although he doesn’t work for anymore, he does still partially own.
- He likes to keep fit in Hyde Park in London accompanied by his personal trainer, James Horan of Home Health Fitness – The Irish No1 at his weight in Taekwondo. He also enjoys snowboarding, socialising and travelling.
- Alex is coached by Robbie Kerr, the A1GP star and former British Formula 3 Champion (2002).
- Alex says that his dad lives very close to Formula One ace Michael Schumacher!
