  • Lee made his Renault UK Clio Cup debut in 2008 and, up to the start of 2017's season, has  competed in 112 races and achieved 5 wins, a further 13 podium results, 3 pole positions and 2 fastest laps.
  • Starting 2017 he is the holder of the fastest ever UK Clio Cup in terms of average speed - 102.11mph achieved on his way to pole position at Thruxton in 2014.
  • Lee is step brother-in-law to WDE team-mate Paul Streather!
  • He is also a massive fan of MotoGP megastar Valentino Rossi.

Career Highlights

Renault UK Clio Cup
5th outright in 2016 with Team Cooksport. Led standings after Brands Hatch Indy’s opening rounds where he took his only win of the season. 3 more podiums and 1 fastest lap followed. One-off appearance at Knockhill in 2015 (with Cooksport). Prior to that 9th outright in 2014 (Team Pyro) with 2 podium results plus pole position at Thruxton – entering 2017 this remains the fastest lap ever in UK Clio Cup history. 8th outright in 2013 for JHR Developments with 1 pole position, 1 win & 1 x 2nd (all at Thruxton).
MINI Challenge
Occasional outings in 2007 & 2012. 3rd in top F56 class in 2015 with 4 wins (season cut short after breaking an arm in crash).
Renault UK Clio Cup
Ran under his own Range Storage banner for 2008 and then JHR for 2009/10 seasons. 1 win in 2008 Silverstone; Finished 2nd overall to Dave Newsham in 2010 with 2 wins (Thruxton & Brands Hatch GP). 6 races only in 2011 with a best result of 2nd, plus occasional races in Ginetta GT Supercup.
