Created as a result of the merger of the Eurocup Formula Renault V6 and the World Series by Nissan, the World Series Formula Renault 3.5 is the flagship category of the World Series by Renault meetings. All drivers behind the wheel of the 425bhp single-seater have just one thing in mind - to make it into Formula One and emulate the success by recent graduates Robert Kubica and Sebastian Vettel.

Also in action at each of the World Series by Renault race meetings is the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 Championship featuring some of the most talented drivers from all around the world as well as the Eurocup Mégane – specially designed 3.5-litre V6 racers based on the road-going New Megane Renaultsport.

The Michelin Formula Renault UK Championship and the ELF Renault Clio with Michelin series also compete at the UK meeting which this year takes place over two action-packed days at the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit on 18th/19th September 2010.

As well as a host of top international and UK motor racing, the free annual event also offers fantastic off-track entertainment as well as the chance to see demonstrations by the Renault F1 Team.
