zoe upgrades

Hi, There’s no official Renault performance suspension upgrade for ZOE. Some elements of the suspension are derived from other models but overall the system is unique to ZOE.

Clio 172 Cup

Hi, this is a bit of a long shot, but I'm at a bit of a loss, I've been searching for a couple of weeks now for a replacement radiator for my 172 Cup. I've contacted multiple companies, spoken to suppliers, asked Renault specialists and started forum threads but no one seems to be able to give me the answer. All I've been able to find out is that it uses a different radiator than the 172/182, but no none seems to know which one, the closest I've come is a part number, but even this has multiple variants of dimension, AC/ non AC. Is there any chance you would be able help me so I can get my car back on the road? Thanks

John Ravenhall, 5th Jun 2018

Clio 172 Cup

Hi John, I'm surprised you have such issues to identify the part? From memory it'll be a standard radiator for a car without AC. If the retailers cant support you - perhaps check the dimensions and compare? Have you tried R Sport?

Clio 200 Starting Problems

Hi Andrew, Sorry for the inconvenience - it sounds like an immobiliser issue. You can try to rotate the steering until it locks then try to unlock. Beyond this it'll be a retailer who can support you.

Renault megane 225 sport

Hi I'm hoping you can help I've got a renault megane 225 and the engine revs up and down on it's own 700rpm/1200rpm there are no fault codes and have had common things replaced ie plugs coils injector any ideas would be appreciated

Renault megane 225 sport

Hello Pete, I'd check if the throttle butterfly is clean of oil deposits, then check for general air leaks. The oil deposits are returned to the engine intake system [part of normal emission control] and over time they change the amount of air which passes the throttle butterfly when in its rest position. Equally if there is a small air leak the idle control system will constantly try to correct.

Wiper motor replacement or bcd damaged?

Hi, ive had trouble with my 2009 renault Scenic dymanique for a long time. A renault ' common fault' of a build up in drainage pipes has caused the wiper motors to sit in water for a long time ( i was unaware of this at the time.). The wipers started working intermittently and and various speed, so were clashing regularly so i removed the passenger wiper. This makes me think theres a timing issue from the relay built into the BCM, but now, i have no wipers at all. Would both (they run on individual motors) have seized from sitting in water for so long? could water have got the the BCM? This is obviously a very dangerous fault of renaults, and has cost me a fortune already. I've tried relentlessly to find used motors just to check, but cant find them anywhere :( Please please help. LOL. if i dont LOL, i'll cry :(

Wiper motor replacement or bcd damaged?

Hi Kelly, It's possible water ingress into the motor can shorten its life, but from memory there is only one motor at the front and one at the rear. Once you have checked all of the fuses - it might be necessary to seek the assistance of an auto electrician. Seized motors due to water ingress would generally burn a fuse before causing further electrical damage.
