Those images look like the creative person that knocked them out a few months ago has just updated them with the info from the leaked rear shot.

I like different cars but i couldn't buy the new CTR. Anyone with any form of semi serious job (or over 30) simply couldn't turn up in one. Looks too max power unfortunately.

The A45 AMG also has those splits, must be a current car design trend. I always think it looks quite cool.

yep you're right, i noticed that last night coming home late! and i think its kind of like all a class with amg packs, or whatever they call it, not just he a45....

but you're right, its a shame that so many are doing such similar design ideas, so not just knocking renault. say what you like about the ctr, but at least its different.....Cool

what about the seat cupra r k1 Wink

I'd guess the rear arch will be two parts due to rear doors. The bit of the arch that's part of the bumper will clearly be all in one but they'll be a stick on part to the rear door.

I dont think there will be a stick on part on the door, just the fender itself, like in the M3,

yep, k1 was a decent stab on that shape. not a patch on the cupra r on the previous shape though.

and you're right, i noticed also the scirocco has them already too!

Kirsty172 - sorry for the american up there, cant help it really, educated in the US kind of makes you use the words you heard / used throughout the years, wheel arch you say, will do my best to keep this in mind. So yes I meant the wheel arch, I dont think there will be an add-on on the rear door, which is good imo, this will look much better than the weird and cheap looking arch extension on the type-r.

Anyway, guess I would have lost my money if I did bet on the front leaking out by today :)

Jeremy RUK - You did not deny the info I put about the dialogys showing the 1.8T for the megane, should we take that as a confirmation ? Source - french clio forum

WHy cant they just focus on what we already know, the wheelarch vent is in the same position as the clio mk3 rs', not like in the zoe sport concept, there is a small "shelf" above the wheelarch logo, the rear wheelarches are not plastic addons but a bespoke panel, and there will be no air intake on the rear doors, one could assume it is there to ventilate the rear seats lol , or is the intercooler suddenly placed inside the rear doors ? :) the front bumper job though looks really good :)

Also there must be an indicator somewhere on the bumper as there is none inside the headlight

One thing fir sure, this will be the best looking compact hot hatch on the market no doubt,

Has it been confirmed that the rear arches are not plastic add-ons? Seems unlikely as it would require significant changes to rear panels, doors etc....

Hi SONY. All the spy shots have that camouflage wrap on the cars so it's difficult to make out for certain if the rear arches are stuck on pieces or not.
Trust me, I hope they are bespoke arches and doors but I don't think the spy shots confirm this? (Or do they?)

German motor magazine "Autobild" are saying that Renault Sport have a presentation at Monaco and that it will probably be to introduce the new Megane RS.

But there's nothing new in the picture gallery.

That rear door vent is virtually as long as the door. I think the wheel design would differ from Clio.

The Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend will see All-New Mégane R.S. make its first public appearance around the Principality’s famous street track on 26th May in the hands of Nico Hülkenberg

Since 2004, the successive generations of Mégane R.S. have provided their owners with landmark innovations and technologies, from independent steering axis front suspension and a choice of Sport and Cup chassis, to Recaro bucket seats, Brembo brake callipers and innovative R.S. Monitor. Renault Sport’s staff are continually exploring new frontiers when it comes to providing customers with exceptional suspension and engine performance, along with aerodynamics honed for efficiency and the best of F1 technology. The successive generations of Mégane R.S. have all stood out as benchmarks in the compact sports car class.

Renault Sport’s road car range has long been driven by the experience Renault has forged in Formula 1 over the past four decades. The three generations of its flagship model – the Mégane R.S. – have featured a raft of advanced technologies for almost 15 years.

Due to be unveiled officially at September’s Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany, All-New Mégane R.S. is poised to break cover in Monaco on Friday 26th May, driven by Renault Sport Racing Formula One Team’s Nico Hülkenberg.

For the occasion, the car will sport a yellow and black livery to mark the 40th anniversary of Renault’s involvement in Formula 1.

Yep, looking forward to seeing it. Might see if my man on the ground can get a photo of it, not sure if he'll be able to see it from his super-yacht though!

Found this...

UserPostedImage

and a larger size one

UserPostedImage

Wonder where did the indicators go.... they're a separate unit installed on the bumper on all the current meganes, will the meg RS have a different headlight or a ph2 headlight on launch ?

Also looks like its Liquid Yellow underneath the wrap, but not a black rooflined one like some of the later spotted test mules...
