The Ferrari was in "public" parking as such as stil had a lot of attention. No matter where you park you are at risk.

I can be quite confident when I say my car won't have the same draw as the LaF Dan!

Epic - I saw the LaF and heard the LFA was there, but didn't see it. Was a bit disappointed that I couldn't find it, it's meant to be the best supercar of the last 20 years.

Would have gone this time though maybe not park with the owners.

It's why in the end I parked my car in the public car park, instead of the collectors area. I just kept on thinking about whether I trusted the public wandering around my car - the answer was a resounding NO.

If you parked in the public area, it could get damaged

I know, just thought on balance that it was less likely - I was probably being pessimistic, but I have parked at a supermarket before, at the far end of a huge empty car park and come out to find that there is only one other car there, of course parked next to mine and it had given me a door dent. This sort of thing happens to me often enough to make me very careful where I park......

Whatever anyone does at this event the downsides remain the same, none of us have any control over it. The sad fact is you can be stood right next to your car and someone will lean on it, poke it, etc. so I don't doubt you all did your best.

Oh how one of these 😉 could have changed your perspective about my post. Guess the double ?? didn't indicate sarcasm for anyone?

As for silly statements about why you bother, it should be because you want to do it as a passionate enthusiast, not to seek recognition or privilege.

And by the way, where's my RS cleaning kit 😛 😂

Don't be too down, as long as the paint ain't damaged dents are pretty easy to get took out these days.
Got a new car this week which had 3 small dents and where removed by a local dent man for £30.
Cars like new now.

I know it's been a while since you got in touch about car kit but unfortunately due to work commitments I've been working 6 days a week so not had time to go to the post office to find out how much it is to send them out
Once I have got there I can let you know
