It's been removed! I wonder if they jumped an embargo or something.

For those interested, it got a very good write up and was awarded 5 stars. Comparisons to the RS3 and A45 AMG throughout.

all sounds nice. i like it...i'd not buy a car more expensive than this, cant see any significant benefit as a road car. this will be plenty, plenty fast enough, and sounds nice and neutral on the road too.

got to be brave to buy an a45, i agree.

Can't help thinking that the heart of the Autocar scribe is blue and oval shaped.

Evo and PH, as always, were a lot more subjective.
Both rated it very highly but acknowledge its not the only game in town.

Be very interest to see the reviews once the journos have had a once to put one through its paces.
Especially against the competiton!! - Honda CTR anyone

The last few words of this review sound pretty good.........

It’s a game-changer, this car. Really, it’s that good.

I have not read the AC review, but have gone off them in the last 6 months after some very bizarre articles and opinions. I trust Evo more. The Evo article only really compares it to the Golf R - the A45 and RS3 can't really be counted as being at the top of the class for driver involvement and fun (as all of the articles on those cars that I have ever read have stated).

I am not knocking the Focus. It is just that we need a meaningful test here in the UK with the best hatches in company. Looking forward to that.

dont think so.....why is it a game changer? what makes it a game changer?

one way it would be a game changer was it their 4wd was the same weight as a 4wd system. it isnt.

another way is if it was more efficient than a 2wd system. it isnt.

maybe if it could be set manually to do 100% rear....?

as i interpret it, the 4wd system is good, works well, better than haldex (is that a game changer????). it sounds like a well engineered, and executed system. i dont think i see anything else in its system thats a game changer?

what do you assess to be game changing about it? let me know what you think.

Good reviews and certainly sounds like 'game changer' territory from what I've read.

Looking forward to seeing some proper comparisons with CTR/275/Golf R/RS3 etc...

Yep, really looking forward to back to back comparisons in Evo and Chris Harris getting his hands on it (if he is still making YouTube videos that is).

oh well done, see, you brought it down to your level again. berate an individual and marginalise them rather than have a debate and/or discussion on a motoring topic - good job!

is it possible to be more tiresome?
