Check out that Pug 206 at the end. Much more exciting. What a buzz you get from keeping that on the cam.

Weight is a fun killer.

In the UK the 206 Gti 180 was always a bit underrated. They do make a storming good buy now. Get some weight out them, no need for an engine transplant and as the vid shows bags of fun to be had.

There's not exactly an abundance of them up for sale....and it wasn't so much underrated the Clio was just better.

Always thought that the 206 GTI was meant handle poorly. Now the 306 6sp GTI is another matter, that was meant to be sublime - a friend had one and it always felt good from the passengers seat

The Clio was certainly the more dynamic choice and unfortunately the 180 followed on from the 140 bhp 206 Gti that was never that special. Clio or Pug gti 180? Deffo the Clio but having something not so mainstream or the default track day choice has a certain appeal.

Impressive stats Womble.

Gotta say, saw a LY Trophy yesterday and it looked superb among the sea of monochrome. I wasn't a fan when the 200t came out, but the looks have grown on me

don't doubt its not spot on, but wombles has some decent mods, must be a fair bit faster than standard. Also, nice to see one of the trolls unable to post anymore, they change name and spout exactly the same rubbish and don't own a car let alone a Renault, top work mods 😃

It was known from the moment he started posting. In the same way that Aerofoil on RSMegane.com is clearly the same person.

good work, bit sad these people need to spend all of their time trying to get a bite out of anyone, even more sad that they spend time trolling the Renault sites and don't own one😂

Agree - the internet proves that there are a lot of strange people out there.

I can understand people coming on here to get information regarding a potential purchase, or if they love cars/have owned RS' in the past, but just to wind people up is a bit weird.

I agree. End of the day people coming in here should be Renaultsport enthusiasts, so we all share the same passion. Anyone who just wants to bash the brand or just be a nuisance might as well not bother/grow up/go elsewhere.

Maybe we should apply a 'Trump' style of moderating where we just do what we want for the sake of the forum?
