While it might be an all round good package it does little to capture my interest.

It looks good to me. I like how you can set it up exactly how you want

Looks a bit like a A Class Mercedes to me from certain angles.

To clarify, I don't think the looks of it are good, I mean as a package it seems to be good...

Definitely keenly priced, if you can haggle a few grand off the performance model...at £25k + 5 year warranty it's a pretty serious and good value package.

It's great to have choice, even if some of that choice isn't your cup of tea!

Yes Sir it certainly does. Great effort by Hyundai. Looks are a personal preference and so far I'm only liking Clio, 135i and TypeR Cool

Just watched the Evo video - I thought it had been engineered by the guy who behind the chassis on a number of M cars, but I wasn't certain. It has some pedigree then in the development team and Sutcliffe is making some pretty bold statements about this against a Megane RS.

I think Hyundai could be onto a real winner hereBig Smile

It is a bit bland in comparison to a Type R but it is certainly no worse than the new Megane from the pictures I have seen to date.

I certainly would not rule one out in the futureBig Smile

certainly getting good reviews, i really don't like that Blue colour in the video though, will go have a nosey at one when they hit the showrooms, still not sure id like to be seen getting out of one, same with the Type R.

I quite like the bluey grey - think it is the best part of the exterior.

I'll wait until the back to back comparison reviews before reading too much into them. The current reviews appear to be from journos and youtubers who have been provided a free holiday to go and review the car.

I generally trust Pistonheads and Evo, they've both been very positive about it.

I like the blue from the video's. Will want to go and see it in the metal, but all things considered....so far it looks a very interesting package and definitely shows some intent from Hyundai on the future of the 'N' brand.

i saw the evo review too. it sounds quite lovely for a 4 cylinder banger, reviews seems to rate the chassis and its fun. got good development it appears from good people with a competitive price. its just totally handicapped but a dull, woeful body. shame.

Great car, amazing for a first attempt. I love the look of it and it sounds better than any Megane to date.

Price point is bang on, too. 28k for all that engineering and tech with a 5 year warranty is phenomenal.

Be interesting to see a review of the 25k car, for most drivers that will be the sweet spot.
