I see the Mustang is getting a power increase to 444bhp, still really tempted by one of these but I just have this nagging doubt in the back of my mind, if however the GT350 ever makes it over it will be a no brainer or me.

Too big for the UK roads in my opinion, a lot of car for the money though.

Its not actually that big and does not feel overly so on the road, I suspect it is bigger than say a 3 series but not larger than a 5 series.

With the amount of Range Rovers, Q7's and other 4 wheel drive dross on the roads it is a positive ant in comparison.

I really enjoyed the Mustang, it has character in spades which is so lacking nowadays.

To be fair I've only sat in one, where it felt huge, but haven't driven one on the road.

Get a test drive Georgeski, it will be a completely different animal to your M3 but it really does have a charm all of its ownBig Smile

I think it one of those cars you either love or hate, I really loved it but I could understand if many didn't.

It is a primitive old hector and it probably wouldn't see which way a diesel golf went on a twisty road but I know who would be wearing the biggest grinBig Smile

There's a 5 litre one in the works car park and it looks imposing but you're right when it comes to wheelbase about the size of a 5'er and smaller than a 7'er, it just looks big because of the height and boxy lack of streamlining.

My neighbour has a 2.3 echoboost one. Don't know how they handle but she looks absolutely beautiful! Sort of car you just want to park it there and see it everyday without getting tired. Blush

Maybe, just maybe they can't quite afford a V8 and still prefer a Mustang over a Mondeo.

LOL LOL Yeah right, I think I will rely on my own perceptions of the Mustang during the test drive earlier this year.

Yea I agree on that GT350 wonder what one would cost in the UK. I'm sure it would sell given the standard v8 seems pretty popular and folk surprisingly can stomach the fuel bill

The GT350 is certainly the one to get and I will be hoping for a UK launch especially as I have now for some inexplicable reason really gone off the standard V8Big Smile

I don't think you are alone Craig, it is a very marmite car not just in looks but also in driving dynamics too but I quite like that.

I believe a base car in the US is $50K so I suspect it will retail over here for in excess of £55K. Sounds a lot but I think the 350 is a credible competitor to the M4 and C63S which you cost you another £10k to £15k to get into.

Hmmm 55k, it does look nice but.....my youtube research says it's barely any faster than a M2 which is a bit slower than a 1/240i (in a drag race). Appreciate it's irrelevant but ehjtf/confused

I think the 'mustang experience' is more than just about speed but agree the M2 does look great value now they are offering discounts and the M140i is the 'deal of the century' at the moment, get in quick before BMW go FWD.
