Holland will race a fourth WDE-prepared car alongside triple Champion Paul Rivett and youngsters Charlie Ladell and Rory Green.
The team is currently in a battle with Team Cooksport’s outfit for second position in the championship’s Entrants Cup.
Holland had contested every round up until Rockingham with the JamSport Racing outfit – he memorably qualified third fastest outright for both race grids at Thruxton and then fourth at Knockhill. His best race results so far in 2015 have been a pair of sevenths.
The 27-year-old commented: “I’ve seen the results WDE have had and I am just trying something different. Who knows where it will lead…
“I’ve had a great time with JamSport who in their first season of the Clio Cup are really starting to flourish and have done a lot to support me, but I missed racing at Rockingham so it’ll be nice to be back on the Clio Cup grid.”
WDE Team Principal Wayne Eason said: “I think Dan is a phenomenal driver and he’s not yet been able to show what he’s capable of. We had most of the top drivers doing some development work recently in Renault UK’s own Clio Cup test car and he was the fastest of the lot…
“He’s a driver we really want to get behind at WDE and everyone here is very excited about having him in one of our cars at Silverstone.”
