Team Pyro’s Mike Bushell (Tunbridge Wells) has been reinstated onto pole position for the second of the weekend’s Courier Connections Renault UK Clio Cup races at Thruxton, round six, after a number of track limits penalties applied during qualifying today, Saturday, 3rd May, were rescinded.
While team-mate Lee Pattison (Scholes) was originally declared as the pole position starter for both rounds five and six, the West Yorkshireman will still begin the first of Sunday’s races from pole but will now line-up second on the grid for race two.
The revised starting order for round five is as follows: Pattison, Bushell, James Colburn (Worthing), Rob Smith (Telford), Devon Modell (Maidstone), Ash Hand (Nuneaton), Josh Cook (Bath), Alex Morgan (Reading), Paul Rivett (Banstead), Ant Whorton-Eales (Lichfield), Jordan Stilp (Potterspury).
The round six grid, meanwhile, now reads: Bushell, Pattison, Colburn, Modell, Hand, Cook, Smith, Whorton-Eales, Rivett, Morgan, Stilp.
Round five will get underway at 10.40 tomorrow, Sunday, 4th May, with round six – which will be screened live on ITV4, ITV4 HD and streamed online at the www.itv.com/btcc website – getting underway at 15.50.
