Final call to book Renault Sport track day places in 2016

Renault Sport owners have just a few days left to book their place for Renault Sport’s last two official track days of the year with a choice of a full day of flat-out driving around Bedford Autodrome’s mammoth GT circuit (2 Aug) or an evening spent on its shorter but equally rapid South-West track (12 Aug).

Three track days to date in 2016 – at Oulton Park, Rockingham and Bedford South-West – have attracted probably the best collection of Renault Sport models yet.

But now there are just two opportunities left for enthusiasts to give their high-performance Renaults a final fling this year at officially-sanctioned Renault Sport track days.

The GT lay-out’s long lap really allows drivers to stretch their cars’ legs; the South-West lay-out, although shorter, also includes several high-speed sections and allows for more laps. Both tracks boast a wide variety of corners which really enable the driver to see just how well their car handles.

Furthermore the two dates include the opportunity to try out the mighty Clio Renault Sport 220 Trophy and All-New Mégane GT 205 EDC models. On-track performance driving tuition is made available for enthusiasts in their own cars as well.

Jeremy Townsend, Communications Director for Renault UK, comments: “Our track days are really great events to meet like-minded Renault Sport owners and it’s fascinating to hear some of the stories owners have had to exchange with one another about the cars we all love.

“Certainly a track full of Renault Sport models new and old being driven purely for the sake of driving enjoyment always makes for a great spectacle!

“As a result we’ve had three very enjoyable track days so far in 2016 and we very much look forward to meeting more Renault Sport enthusiasts and owners at our final two fixtures at Bedford which are really designed to give car and driver maximum thrills.”
