seems i have a leaky seal on the rocker cover at the back, has been for a while.

local garage being in contact said it would be a big job around 6-8 hours -£600 job to re-seat/seal as both them selves and local garage haven't performed this task on a 133.

just wondering if anyone on here or renault sport uk can give a time scale they think it would actually take or took them.

bit baffled it could take that long, understand the sealant takes time to cure etc but this is actually fitting labor...

many thanks

the top half of the head performs the cam carrier job as well - so the whole lot is disturbed when its re-sealed

there isnt a gasket as such just a bead of sealant as its a machined face for both parts...

thats the k4m engine which is similar to the f4r in the clio...
