A swift is the same size as a Twingo, as is a 500. I went from a 133 to a 200, now in a Megane. The size increase is massive from one to the other. A swift is no where near the size of a Megane, it's 2 segments lower!

Is it true the next one is 5 dr only? Or is that just a rumour at the minute?
A little 3cyl turbo in the back could be exciting though...

Not really a shock to see it go so soon after the facelift as it had one major problem that was difficult to overcome no matter how good it was, the Swift.

Haven't driven the twingo so can't comment, but the swift is a very good drive - can see why it is so highly rated.

Record sales doesn't necessarily mean they're any good,
Maybe not, but record sales along with glowing press reports usually does.

A little 3cyl turbo in the back could be exciting though... I wouldn't count on it. Capable, certainly, but exciting... No. Look at Ford's 3 pot turbo, 125bhp + about 150lb\ft on overboost. I can't imagine Renault being able to significantly improve on that.
