Good afternoon everyone,

I just wanted to let you all know informally (for now!) that we are re-launching the Renaultsport specialist network. You may have noticed a few of our dealers signing up and saying hello.

It is a project that Jeremy and I have been coordinating with all of the different departments within RUK for the past 8 months or so. Yesterday, this all came together with our first Renaultsport Club dealer meeting, which took place at Blyton park. The idea moving forwards is to get these dealers together every quarter to share best practices, provide RUK with feedback directly and to have a focus area for each session, for example product and technical knowledge. We encouraged them all to join the forum and get involved as much as they can with regards to offering advice and helping with sales and service queries.

These dealers were not hand picked by RUK based on volume potential or any other commercial factors, but based on their passion for the brand and the product. It's still very early days and we're continually learning, teaching and developing how we do things, but the important thing is we have a passionate group of people who I hope you will get to know. The good news is that they are required to run Renaultsport demonstrators, so you'll now have somewhere you can visit to drive our products.

We have a full press release in the working which will contain all the detail needed, but for now I thought I would just let you know. Please join me in welcoming along our new members (when they join!).

Thanks
Luke & Jeremy

Masters of Beckenham are also pleased to be "out of the dark" and can confidently wave the Renaultsport moniker for any sales, service or parts enquries or just for a coffee and a chat.

Great news and let's hope it lasts longer than the last attempt. Perhaps going forward you should do a session at one of the meetings with some RS owners giving a perspective on what they would like to see from the dealers to help with the customer service side.

I wanted to go for it but sadly I'm not high enough to call the shots haha.

It's a shame though, but I'll be sticking around here anyway and still helping out when I can etc.

Great stuff, hope the dealers really buy into this with the kind of commitment and passion that owners show on here. Glad to see Manchester represented, will be paying a visit when I'm ready to change my 200T next year...maybe the new RS Megane will show itself by then.

Does this mean we might get some dealer competition on quotes for new cars?

Also have the new RS garages been given sales targets on the RS range again as the last time I spoke to someone there was no sales target.

Fantastic news, this is exactly what RSUK needs. Will they also specialise in GT by Renaultsport?

Always worth asking and I never heard any mention of targets to meet.
The Megane 4 GT sounds good with 7 speed box out next year.
Any 200,s ordered from now will have the faster gear change as the 220 version.

Great news. Hope this works, should be a win/win for all as can be seen on the Harratts thread with returning customers.
