What exactly is there for the mods to mod? The Vix is giving his opinion on a car he owns in a thread titled after the car in the General Chat section? You might disagree but I don't see how he's done anything wrong.

Thick skinned Rob, I don't feel belittled at all, just a bit sad Mr Vix has ended up with a lemon and can't enjoy the quality car and service I've received. I don't mind a good discussion, it's just the total lack of (or seemingly lack of) appreciation that my experience has been the opposite. And because of that I live in a dream world and it will be the worst decision I've ever made. Nothing wrong with an opinion, just some opinions are wrong

Any way back on subject now the forums 'sensitive souls' have had there monthly PMT sessions Some good news Danny I took the Abarth out for a blast around Salisbury Plain yesterday evening and I think the GF is just struggling with the Gearbox as I had no problems getting it into reverse, must make a note to get a 'girlie auto' for her next time It really is a great fun little car, that I cannot deny and TBH who needs a 'Beats' system when that exhaust sounds so good

Strange that everyone here seem to be praising the BEATS system. When I was looking at the 595 Comp. most of the online reviews I found in DE seemed to say "great car, but don't go for BEATS, not worth it." Maybe they preferred the exhaust notes too.

The exhaust is a bit mental. I love going to work at 4am and blasting down the country roads

It's pure filth for a 1.4 Turbo. I'm gonna try and record it in a chav rev battle v the Huracan if I get chance

The problem is Eccentric the 595 is so loud inside that any decent system is going to be a waste imo. Having said that I have no issue with the purchase of the Beats system per se but I do object to being fobbed off with a load of twaddle from FIAT and being without any in car entertainment for getting on for a month with no sign of a solution, sorry but it is not acceptable full stop.

The exhaust is absolutely fabulous and is imo far superior to any Hot Hatch currently available and unlike the A45/Golf R etc it does not sound 'false'.
I really hope FIAT can pull their finger out with their customer backup/service as there is an awful lot to like about the 595 and it really does have far more character than other offerings on the H/Hatch market at present.

Been without any infotainment in the Abarth for over a month now and have heard 'diddly' from FIAT, what a shower of SH1TE

Still no infotainment repair/replacement I can just imagine buying a Giulia QV for £65k as discussed on the other thread and getting the same treatment. This is why Alfa are never going to sell cars in the same quantity as there German competitors no matter how good they are. It is starting to become a bit of a running joke now

The Giulia QV has had quite a few issues too, forums are littered with disgruntled owners!

New infotainment system is apparently going to be fitted on Tuesday, I wont hold my breath.
Now the drivers side floor mat has ripped away from its fixings, might get it fixed by Xmas if I am lucky!!!

Interestingly yesterday I spoke to a friend who used to work at a major car dealer covering mainly Mazda, Opel and Fiat. He reckoned Mazda were the most reliable, Opel also quite reliable but Fiat models generally unreliable and most often in for repair. This was the same dealer where I test drove the 2016 model Abarth 595 Competizione. Edited by user 28 October 2017 02:41:24(UTC)

To be fair out of those three companies it’s a pretty safe bet that Mazda are the most reliable!
