Trophy starting from 44.100, so 6000 more Euros lol. Think I'll pass this one.

The Luxemburg online configurator says 37,500k EUR roughly 3200 more than a 280... gets cup, bimetallic brakes, recaros as standard.... sounds ok to me...

If so, than its ok. Hopefully they won't disappoint once more, beginning to get tired of this.

Nah, I won't buy it or if I will, I will change the suspension with a Sport one. Still debating.

You are going to buy a Trophy, then make it not a Trophy?

That’s got to be a wind up, no one could surely be daft enough to pay extra for a trophy and then change the suspension back to Sport!! 😄😄

Here’s an idea, buy a 280 sport and chuck the extras on and save some money!

Should put this guy in charge of Brexit with loony ideas like that!

Ok, I'll buy two then and change the suspension of both. Gonna put tank tracks too.

Strangely. I get this. I get the point. I understand the theory.

My 250 and now 265 facelift are too hard for my old discs and road surfaces where I live.
TERRIBLE
Throws the car all over the place and spend all my time gentle AVOIDING STRADDLING/STRADDLING AVOIDING Sunken drains, manhole covers, trenches, subsidence, and potholes

I always thought I would fit ohlins, keep the 'difference' in the front to rear settings [clicks] but soften them right off.

Not going to happen though.

GOLF R or anything with adjustable dampers/suspension/dynamics even with 19's so much more forgiving on these surfaces.

Best wishes to you all and the future discussions with the Chiro/Orthopedic surgeons [mine cost £11,000 wifes £3,300]
Not counting the countless Epidurals from a lifetime of driving.

I STILL LOVE MY HOT HATCHES THOUGH.

Cheers Andy

very sorry to hear you and your wife have back trouble from driving a car. did you sue them? i'd have thought you have a water tight case and could sue for way more than your medical costs. where there's blame there's a claim....
