Some kind person decided to demonstrate their parallel parking skills against the front of my car the other day. It's only minor but the marks are down to the plastic.

Spoke with Ford - no body shop, Local body shop - we'll take the whole bumper off and respray Shocked, chips away - £250 but I have to get the car to them as no one local.

Never had any bodywork damage before just wondering what's the norm to expect for such minor stuff, leaning on the side of ignoring from the couple of enquirys so far?

Sorry to see that Marc, I bet the person didn't leave their details!! I have backed into cars before and you can feel even the lightest of touches, so I never believe the 'oh, I didn't realise' excuse.

That should be well within what a good chips-away type service can do though and £250 seems about right. They repaired a scrape on my M135i's bumper and did a great job to be fair.

Yea zero surprise on no details been left, modern society... Car was filthy at the time so all the muck been scrapped made it obvious. I'll see if I can make somet happen with chipsaway as it just kinda bugs me knowing it's there despite it not been cleaned often.
