My big bruv has an old 2.5 Boxer out in the US that he's had from new and absolutely loves it. Not the fastest car in the world but more than makes up for it with sublime balanced handling. Think my R27 will give him a surprise Big Smile

4wd, 250+bhp and greasy road surfaces so no shame there, get him in the corners Wink

yeah but the boxster's a different class. Most folk will look twice at a porsche whilst most don't know what an RS is lol

quite clearly not in a straight line as it only started to pull away around the 80-90mph mark at the ring and I wouldnt say I was a fantastic driver as the ring was only my 2nd track day LOL

great cars not a patch on the 911 though. frightning the cost of owning and running a 911 i spent and lost in depreciation more in 4 years than i spent on the R27.
new clutch and back plate £900 after 17K miles.Shocked
service was £500 with a interim on at 6 months for £300 and that was at a local specialist.
The car had a new clutch and full service at AFN the official Porsche garage just before i bought it and the invoice was £2500.
Shocked

i had a 3.2 s a few years ago, nice smooth drive but none of the character of a real sportscar, and tame enough to give to your missus for the day.....

on a track the clio will be more fun definately..... but if you go for dinner at the savoy.... take the porkaWink

There was a Boxster S at the Car Limits day I did in the summer. Sounded absolutely gorgeous. Shame the driver didn't seem to want to push it that much, but it was doing pretty good times anyway.

Rob, does this mean you're letting the missus loose in the Clio while you're hooning around in her Porker? Shocked

was behind the filthiest Audi R8 57 plate on the M8 last night - absolutely stunning. In saying that, didn't the 911 get voted the better car somewhere? I'd have the Audi though - the shape is awesome.
