Oops indeed. I'm sure he won't miss the £429 he had to pay for the fine, but it'll be a twat with no license for a month. Saying that, he'll probably just get chauffeured around everywhere for the month.

Would that ban carry over to England as well, or just France?

Is that a little jelousy I hear there? Wink

I thought he came across extremely well on Top Gear the other week. He gave me the impression he's a decent young lad.

I'm sure they can endorse our licences and give us bans, but they seem to get off for committing offences in this country.

I also had a mate who got community service here for speeding in america. He thought they couldn't touch him so put his foot down while there a bit, all seemed very harsh to me, their roads are straight so you're hardly likely to crash anyway.

He's enough of an idiot at times I'm suprised he didn't do something that would make then shoot him.

LOL Jealous of his money, hell yeah! LOL

I agree he conducted himself really well in TG. I just don't like the way he conducted himself during the F1 season. He acted like a d!ck in some of the interviews I saw. Didn't do himself many favours there. As a driver he's clearly exceptional, but his PR skills leave a lot to be desired imo.

I bet he is a safer driver at 120 than most of us are a 70.

Copper just wants to make a name for himself, if it were me I would have asked for a pick and an autograph and sent him on his way.

dunno if it's true or not, but a nice story anyway.
