Thanks very much guys.. Little bit of a game plan for the summer.. I'm bored with the metal floor in the back and going to complete the re-trim throughout the rear of the car. I have a nice Alpine system but I dont want to turn the car into a bump and grind wagon  so there wont be any extreme bass or subs in there anywhere. Just some smaller quality components hidden away.

I am going to trim all of the plastics in the back the same as the front in grey suede.. around the boot area and adding a light weight false floor with a hidden area that will be also covered so wont be seen until the door/section is lifted. Thinking of fitting the 4 channel Alpine amp in there so its hidden (and easily removable if required) and then adding some small size (but quality) speakers.. maybe components neatly fitted into the suede trim. They will be flush with the trim on the rear pillars and also hidden in the floor.
It should all just look like a matching Suede trim when its done with a usable carpeted flat floor.

How it looks now.. 'before I start' some speakers I was playing around with positioning.. but just testing where things will go at the moment.

There was some masking tape on the dash whilst I was making these last Sunday afternoon..

Just need to add the red buttons and fit them in and there done.

I saw something that I thought would fit in with the rest of the trim at demon tweeks..

http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Search.do?method=delegate&n=1913&b=2&g=0&p=116348&s=sparco+footrest

and gave it a try.. thought it was better than a rubber mat,

Thanks for the replies. I know what your saying Al, but this will be 100% finished (this time haha)

I'm interested to know how the components are going to go too! hopefully it should look good when its all done Smile the main thing is that it looks better finished with the floor being covered (and usable) and the sides trimmed to give a better overall finish to the trim.. looks a bit bare at the moment..looking forward to seeing it when it's all done myself.

cheers guys for the previous replies and offers, soon as this is complete i'll have to get something sorted.

.

Finally got around to having a bit of fun with the speaker panels.. still didnt do as much as I liked and didnt get around to fitting the tweeter...which will be flush mounted next to this one.

.

Trimmed the panel in suede and it came out well and it fitted like a glove in its new home.. Still the other panels needed to do to connect to this one and some carpet up the wheel arches and back of the boot and the floor.. and other bits needed.. but its good to get it rolling.. the speaker covers need painting as they came in this colour..

.

UserPostedImage

Added a bit of coding around the sun roof as well.. would like to trim the sun visors sometime.. I did a bit more but forgot to take any pics..

UserPostedImage

.

lots more to do.. just not quite sure when Smile

Cant believe how time flies..  1 year since my last post!   Still looking after the 5..   other commitments have kept it on the side lines this year.. but the trim is 95% completed.. just need to complete a few tiny bits! lol..  it's funny that I always say there's still more to do!!  but it wouldn't be any fun if there was nothing to play around with.  The engine only got 24 miles on it since the new build..  so will need running in after the winter.

Few pics I didn't get around to posting here... the cars nicely garaged away for the winter now but cant wait to get some time to play around and get boosting again.  Have a great 2013 folks!! :)

Absolutely stunning. A credit to you. By your forum name I really don't want to park my 182 anywhere near yours for fear of being ashamed at mine by the looks of this project. Got any pics of the 182?
