Hi All,

Joined up today - however, I have a long history with Renault Sport!

I have raced various Renault powered cars, from Formula Renault 1.6 cars in French F4, to Gen 3/4 Clio Cup cars and most recently a specially built Team Cooksport Clio Cup Endurance car in the Dubai 24 hours and the Imola 12 hours.

Also, every road car I have owned has been Renault, from my first car, a Twingo 133 which is currently for sale, hint hint ;), to my next car, a Clio 220 Trophy which I will be taking delivery of in November!

Hi Guys,

Just saying hi. After 4 years in a basic run-around I got myself a new Clio RS EDC last week. I'm from Dublin, Ireland, however bought my car from a dealership in the south of England and I'm really loving it! I did have a Megane R26 F1 for a year before the run-around but a new house came calling so I sold it. I'm genuinely glad to be back in a Renault Sport car.

I've lots of plans for my Clio in terms of upgrades over the net year so looking forward to seeing who's done and who's doing what as well as other people's experiences.

Cheers,

Welcome along Jake. Could be the throttle unit as I believe it is drive by wire rather than cable actuated. Check Injection could be a multitude of issues and I can't advise where to start on the 225

Hi, im looking into buying a Renault sport Megane 275 in the new year. Im just here to get some advice on what to look for when i buy one and how they are to live with.
I cant see me putting in on a track any time in the future so im going for the 275 nav model, im looking at 2015 models with under 20k on them in black on black, not sure about Recaro's or not but yeah.
Any advice on what to check before i buy and how they are to live with (frequency of and best tyres, pads, oil etc) would be gratefully received.
Cheers

Dave

Hi guys! Just registered, I've bought my first French car, a megane rs 275 trophy build number 876. I've come from st Fords (still running a 300bhp 2014 fiesta st widebody), e46 M3 (and other bmws) and trading in my stage 1 mk7 golf R for the meg. Hopefully picking it up on Tuesday.

I do have lots of questions about this car that I can't seem to find the answers to online, how many in the UK? How many built in total? Any info on the engine other than 2 litre turbo.

Looking forward to learning off the vets in here and having lots of fun in the car.

Cheers

Scott.

Hi all,

Many of you perhaps have seen me quite active in the forum in the last couple of months. I finally have taken the delivery of Clio RS 220 yesterday after over four months of wait! I'm still in a state of "I CANNOT BELIEVE IT" in my mind, stunned. Special thanks to Nicola and everyone else at the Lookers Renault based in Newcastle for helping me with every step from the day 1. This was the first pic but trust it won't be the last one! Big Smile

First Impression

Looking forward to the track days, although I won't be tracking the 220 on it but will definitely be taking lessons from the pro drivers!!

Kind regards,
Tanim
