I hit some black ice today while driving around a slow left-hander at about 15-20mph and I ended up in a snow bank on the other side of the road!!Angry
There was a low kerb in there somewhere which has caused some minor scuffing and damage to the o/s/f wheel (see my 'wanted' post) but should I get the car checked over? I drove the car 10 miles home and it feels OK but could/would the suspension have been knocked out of line?
I think the impact was mostly cushioned by the snow...thank God!!! This could have been much worse if there was anything going the other way...Shocked
I wish my luck would change with cars...only had it 3 weeks!!

You won't be able to relax until you get it checked over so go for it.

A geometry check shouldn't cost the earth and its peace of mind. I've had brand-new cars that needed their geometry setting, so its worthwhile doing once a year or so anyway.

£31.62 exactly at Chemix for gemoetry report & adjustment. Just had it done.

I just braved the snow again and had the car checked over...it was OK with only a minor adjustment of tracking required. No more than any other car on the road apparently! I'm having the car serviced in 3 weeks so I'll mention it again then and get it checked over to be sure.

The guy who checked the car at the only place open (Kwik Fit (!)) reminded me how lucky I was...many others have faired much worse than me in this terrible weather....

Which Chemix? Does the Clio need 4 wheel or just the two wheel?

Chemix in Amblecote/Stourbridge (Open Sundays). Reports on 4 wheels but the rear is fixed axle? so they adjusted fronts slightly only.
