Thought i would do a small story on my old clio 16V that i used to own a few years ago, I spent a shed load of money on this wee car and in the end it was writted off with an uninsured female driver slamming into the back of me while i was stopped at traffic lights. This brought a end to the clio as the floor pain was more bent than elton john.

Anyway im sure from the pictures you can see the work that went into the car from buying at the start to how it ended up before it dies.

Comments Welcome.

My mate who i still work with was a renault RTE at the local dealership so i asked him to carry out alot of the work.

It was alot quicker and better for us to take the engine out to do the work so thats exactly what we did.

Once the work was carried out i then wanted to sort the wheels and bodywork, With working for Evans Halshaw Vauxhall at the time i managed to get the guys to sort me out in the bodyshop for all less than £400, I removed the front badge, smoothed the rear tail gate and painted the car in VXR Racing Red.

Then Woke Up one morning to find that someone had done a hit and run on me and crushed my whole rear quater in.

After the guys on clio16valver.o.uk seeing this they all clubbed together and offered to buy me a rear quater to get

it all fixed up again but this came to a end.

Talk about bad luck. Such a shame as it looked really up together.

Never mind you have a better Clio now.
