They're not. The Swift and Mini aren't anywhere near Clio size!

If your looking at twingo class its the Alto and mini doesnt have one in the Twingo class. The swift is nearly bigger then the megane never mind Clio

Twingo, 500, Alto, etc classed as Mini

Mini, Clio, Swift, etc classed as Super Minis

so no mini mini then Confused

Mini is smaller than a Twingo. A swift is the same size as a Twingo, as is a 500.

I went from a 133 to a 200, now in a Megane. The size increase is massive from one to the other. A swift is no where near the size of a Megane, it's 2 segments lower!

Is it true the next one is 5 dr only? Or is that just a rumour at the minute?

A little 3cyl turbo in the back could be exciting though...

You'll have to wait and see Tongue. Really sad to see it go, I've got some fond memories of the Twingo RS.

Not really a shock to see it go so soon after the facelift as it had one major problem that was difficult to overcome no matter how good it was, the Swift.

The Suzuki gets really good write ups but I think the Twingo looks far more 'hot hatchish' and would be my choice.

Record sales doesn't necessarily mean they're any good, wouldn't say they were an enthusiasts car, where the RS Twingo 133 is specialLOL but then I would say thatCool

Haven't driven the twingo so can't comment, but the swift is a very good drive - can see why it is so highly rated.

Maybe not, but record sales along with glowing press reports usually does.

I wouldn't count on it. Capable, certainly, but exciting... No.

Look at Ford's 3 pot turbo, 125bhp + about 150lb\ft on overboost. I can't imagine Renault being able to significantly improve on that.
