Was looking at my colleagues C63 estate today, lovely interior. I bet you'll be breaking bits on your car just for the benefit of having the C63 courtesy car Big Smile

Sounds utterly evil too!

Very nice. Are you breaking bits deliberately to get your hands on these courtesy cars? LOL Wink

Missed all you guys my MB forum isn’t quite as lively

Just an update in the hope that Renault look after you all a bit better as the courtesy car ‘ treat ‘ does work !

Converted to DCT by Reno then pushed away after problems with my 200t I got an A250, then an A250 4matic before my A45 which is amazing, I’m now an AWD fan as well. Spending my own money which could have all gone the way of Renault if they’d kept me happy .

Whenever my cars been in just for regular servicing I’ve never had anything less than I’d already got, A45’s, new C63 V8 and C43, the drive in an A45 convinced me to get one myself which I’ve just had a year now.

I found the A45 to be a boring inert pile of toot and I couldn't wait to get rid, I would be interested on your thoughts on the new C63 though.

Hi Mr Vix,

glad your still there

Horses for courses love my A45 daily driver over the moors all weathers nothing or nobody stops it !
C63 b...dy fantastic but that much torque it didn't go straight very often, seemed a bit more brutish than the original, very clever electrics which I was afraid of switching off very often.
Interior, seats etc very nice, had it for a few days, I'm afraid my A45 whopps it every time except on a straight dry road, relieved to give it back but I would have one if I could keep both.

cheers
Alan

PS now the C43 is a pile of rubbish, V6 twin turbo, hardly any exhaust noise, disappointed as I was thinking next time it would be for me

There is no doubt at all that very little would keep up with the A45 and the old C63 would not see what way it went.

What I love about the C63 was that every time I got behind the wheel it was an event the A45 just left me cold and I never really enjoyed driving it, I suppose it was just too clinical.

I have heard the C43 isn't up to much and apparently it makes odd noises going round low speed corners at almost full lock!! The new C63S does appeal but I think it is going to be hard to replace that old 6.2, really wish I had kept mine longer but parting with £250 each time I drove up to the Northwest and back 4 times a month took the shine off it slightly.
