Err that needs a bit more detail! Did someone have a big off? Hope not.

I assume he had a heart attack as he didn't crash.

I spoke to one of the guys in the Green group who said the guy just collapsed at the wheel. Luckily his passenger stopped the car by pulling on the handbrake and knocking it out of gear. He was a Brit and he's back home now. That's all the info he had.

Epic day - blue sky and 22c, how JT organises that at the end of September is approaching black magic.

As always great to meet and chat with old friends and meet new faces - good feeling of camaraderie on the day.

With 13 brits in the same group it certainly made for some interesting sessions - this was however the black group and still had some of the traits I experienced before.
4/5 abreast into Les Combes and the Bus Stop was witnessed on more than one occasion.

Thankfully other than the medical emergency the whole day passed without any major incident.

was there a photographer at the event?

I'm still buzzing from the trip away and wanting as many photos as possible for my album.

Was just thinking about these today and looked on the French site for them. What was interesting was the days run in Germany which I might look at next year.

Thanks for posting up.

Was it a requirement to cover your plates? I know lots of people do it but never seen full track day with them all taped.

Yes the guy on the circuit entrance went mad at me for telling him I wasn't bothered and insisted that he taped them up. According to Jeremy it was to save the hassle of asking for permission from everybody to use the photographs or to sort out the ones that didn't want to be public.

Cool cheers, actually makes perfect sense and surprised it's not more common in that case.
