It was a lovely day, shame about the weather to start with! I was with the mk1 Clio guys (mine was the white one) and we all had an awesome time despite a few small issues.

Some lovely cars out there today

Great day today

My first time at Bedford (Titanium Grey Megane 275 Cup-S), but we managed to maintain some pretty good pace throughout the day.

Look forward to seeing the pictures!

My first ever track day really enjoyed it (clio 182 trophy)
ive been putting off doing track days for years. it will definitely not be my last.
10/10 for my first track day experience.

Must confess enjoyed it a lot more after lunch in the dry.
Fitted new tyres for the track a few days ago never had them before(AD08R)
A little scary in the rain but very competitive in the dry, since that's my only real mod the the car.

Enjoyed my laps in the NEW clio trophy Also (renault for your info I liked the GBox)
(nice to finally get to find out what's its like compared to my existing trophy's)

Another great day for me too. Thanks to all at Renault (esp Jeremy & Luke) please keep these days going as they are the best way to enjoy these great cars true potential. Loved the wet session in the morning for exploring limits and then a proper hoon in the dry later! The -R just gets better with more miles under its belt. Still not totally happy with brakes but if Ktec ever pull their finger out and get this new performance friction 350mm kit supplied/sorted I think it will be spot on!
Top job by Event tyres too for sourcing two new Cup 2's with just a few hours notice the previous day and getting them delivered and fitted trackside on the day. Very competitive pricing and rims unmarked too, really recommend using them.
Roll on Spa in September....

Another great day, my thanks to Jeremy, Luke, Renault UK and all participants - driving etiquette by all was as usual of the highest standard.

Always good to meet with old and new track-day friends.

Was my first full day in the Megane as I've only done a few evenings before.
Really enjoyed it. Was unsure on a few occasions but overall very much worth the two tanks of fuel 😂

Was nice to see how quick the Megane was down the back straight too compared to the newer cars.

Hi All,

Big thank you to Renault Sport for arranging a great day out. First track day and will be back for more. I had the 2012 silver Clio RS, really impressed how the car held up with some hard track use. Great to see how the car preformed both on the wet and dry. Had run out on the new RS models too nice cars.

I really want to go to Spa now, is it on this year? I don't see any details on website.

All the best,

Dave.

few questions about Bedford evening track day next week:

does the rules about long sleeve still stand, there is nothing on the Renault website or the email receipt

my receipt states 2 extra drivers and 2 passengers, some of the names i gave have now changed, does this matter? does it matter if they are all coming out in the car and none of them are going to be driving? (there is something about only one spectator per car, this is completely at odds with the booking system at the time of purchase)

one person will arrive in their own car, will they be able to get through the initial barrier and park next to the briefing room?

Generally if it is hot they are more relaxed about not covering up arms. I have often worn a short sleeved t-shirt at Bedford in summer.

You cannot go on track with passengers in the rear. Thus only the driver and one passenger at a time. I am sure your other passenger could get a ride with someone else.

Your friend with the other car will be allowed into the circuit and able to park near the briefing.

Name changes have not been a problem before.

i went last year so i know you can only have one at a time in the car

so if we turn up without long sleeves we will be allowed on the track?

I wore a t-shirt at most track days including Bedford without a problem. Just chuck a long sleeve top in the boot and you can't go wrong.
