I think those that bought an M2 as an investment are in for a shock, I say 'good' these low life speculators are ruining the 'special' car market imo

I would love it Georgski, perfect spec but there is the little problem of a Jag to get rid of first unfortunately.Disapprove

It looks like it could be a bargain at that price and spec for someone thoughSmile

It will be interesting to see if they bring out a CSL in the next year or two.

It looks as though that could be the CSL, not an LCI.

I bet a CSL version will be very well reviewed.

It's no 1M - one of those is being advertised at (and will never achieve it) £75k!!!

Yep I am not convinced the M2 will get anywhere near the residuals of the 1M, an M2 CSL on the other hand will perform very well indeed though............. if you can get hold of oneSleepy

There's not much I wouldn't do to get a M2 CSL. It will be sublime.

Haha, I would commit murder but taking my kids out of school is a step too far

I'm hoping that I win the lottery!

I'm the lucky bugger who's made thousands, because he's never played the lottery.

The only people that have 'made' thousands on the lottery are those that play it, you have 'saved' thousands by not playing it, there is a differenceWink

I am with you though, think I have spent less than £5 since inception, but as they say 'you have to be in it to win it'Smile

I think blue is the colour to have, the lines seem to get lost in the other limited options.

Discounts are starting to appear on the M2 so it is not going to be a depreciation buster like the 1M. Nice to see that some speculators will get burnt on this one. Great car though.

Down to 37k for one with just 6k on the clock
https://www.autotrader.c...d/advert/201703313908615

or if your feeling slightly deranged you can have one for 80k

https://www.pistonheads....e-features-16-66/7897017

I know Kirsty was thinking about a new CTR but a lightly used M2 surely has to be an option. Hope they continue to depreciate as still fancy one myself.

Great price for an outstanding car. It doesn't really matter, but I wish the colour range was better. That blue in the first advert is the only unique colour and it looks terrible in real life.

M2 Competition has really taken my eye. We’ve got our first BMW in the last couple of months and I’m hugely impressed by the 335d (wife’s run around).
M2C looks like quite a few improvements on what is already a great car by the sound of things and (in manual guise, which is what I’d be having) looks relatively reasonably priced before discounts.

I’m waiting until April / May next year to change my Cup-S, and at the moment it’s between the M2C and the Trophy 300.
Despite these being completely different cars and likely £15k difference in rrp I’d expect them to be similarly priced over a pcp type deal.

It does look a great car and it seems quite a bold move to change the engine for the one in the M3/4. Really width I could afford one! It'll have great tuning potential too 530ish bhp from just a remap.

Hadn't realised the M2C wasn't some 60k + special edition but just the 'new' M2. Looks well priced at 47k.

It’s special in that they have dropped a new engine into it, made a number of suspension tweaks and the carbon fibre brace from the M3.

You’d probably hate to have recently bought a M2, M3 or M4.
Unless you need the space of the M3, the M2C is the sweet point.

Yep, although I do think the M3 is the best looking car from the range.
