Looks like the this season will be a cracker - rookie Zarco leading on a Tech 3 bike in the first race!

Great race, some brilliant overtakes and 3rd for Rossi, the season is going to be a cracker 😃

Looking forward to a proper duel between Marc & Maverick. Really good start to the season with four manufacturers in the hunt.

Yep, great to see so many manufacturers and riders competitive - another season where it will blow F1 out of the water!

Everything F1 is missing can be seen in just 20 laps of racing at Qatar. Great racing and looking to be a great season.
Marc and the Hondas may just have a hard time this year get a taste of the champagne.

Real shame for Zarco.

It was a shame for Zarco, would've been quite an unbelievable start to the season if he'd won.

Great race.

When zarco stacked it, one of the commentators said "I've never wanted a Frenchman to do so well'

LOL LOL LOL

Vinales looks unstoppable. Certainly got the measure of Rossi.

He does, but Rossi isn't the GOAT for no reason. My prediction is that Rossi will keep on consistently getting a reasonable amount of points each race and Vinales will either start to drop off a bit or may pick up an injury. I certainly think the championship race will only really be between the two Yamaha team mates.

Sad news about Nicky Hayden, he's was meant to be one of the nicest guys in motorsport!

A real shame. He did seem like a real nice guy.

Probably the best season I have ever seen, so many different riders that were in contention for race wins and the championship going down to the last race - a real shame that Dovizioso didn't win it in the end.

Was a good season but I think last year was better for the number of new winners and Suzuki performing well. Gone away this year.
So much better than F1 for racing. Also in nice bite size amounts so doesn't disrupt the day so much.

What number of titles will Marquez finish on? Rossi' record doesn't look so water right now.

For me last year was marred by the Marquez Rossi shenanigans, I felt Rossi was unfairly penalised and should’ve won the championship. Both years have been great though, due to the number of incredible riders in the premier class currently, I don’t think it has ever been so competitive.

You have to imagine that Marquez will end up with more titles to his name than Rossi being only 24, but then it still a relatively dangerous sport and you never know what might happen.

The shenanigans you speak of were in 2015. They relatively kissed and made up last year at catalunya after the death of the Moto2 rider.

Oh yes, I couldn't remember whether it was last year or the year before.... Time is flying at the moment!
