I had the exact issue on my tyres too - down to the wire on the insides! I put it down to tracking and had that corrected, but interesting to see that might not have been the cause

Look like this might not be a isolated issue Gellys have totally fallen apart.

How much mileage on them?

My Clio Trophy is now 18 months old but I've had two winters (total of around 10 months) of winter tyres and they're still great. My PSS summers still have good trad depth but the outside edges are definitely wearing. Not yet illegal, but wearing.
The car has done something like 18,000km and I'd say just over half of that is on the PSS.

The cars just done 11000mile. It's got plenty of life left in the tyre but the inside edge has just fallen apart. Looks like the road has just ripped it apart.

Same here. Two new tyres on their way to me. Could be a trend with early 17 plate cars. Thanks to Nina at Renault customer services & Graeme at Michelin.

Hi this is Alice, and I sell tyres Northampton for Superior cars. I want to take this opportunity to tell our drivers' community that you should always go for branded tyres if you want longer life for them
