Photos 4 & 6 possibly showing the RS interior, judging by the symbol on steering wheel and it looks like a manual, which should win back the critics of the motoring press..... Am I the only one who likes a flappy paddle?

Interior - very promising, actually looks like a manufacturer (apart from tesla and probably peugeot) has finally worked out how to being integrating new technology into a driver's cockpit. Looking good

Exterior - total yawnfest

Why get one bit very right and the other bit very wrong?

This is a RS Line car, is it a package like the GT Line or does it take the GT's place in the lineup maybe we'll find out today as they have it officially announced.

Exterior looks like another facelift of the MK4, but the interior is a huge step up.

Looks like the manual with RS logo is actual an "RS Line" (or GT?) rather than a proper RS. I do hope we see a manual as an option this time. The chassis was fantastic on the MK4 and I'd love to see Renault topping the hot hatch charts again.

Yes it would be a large step in the right direction with a return to a manual RS Clio however I suspect like the Megane it won't be able to compete with the sectors best. Whilst the new Megane is a good Hot Hatch it lacks the old sparkle that used to set the brand apart and I suspect the new Clio will be more of the same.

Only saving grace is it can't be as bad as the current RS Clio!!!

Great to hear the car is wider than it used to be, 66mm more width of the body will translate to more room inside and better handling as well, it is 63 mm wider than the Fiesta....

Talking sectors best, there's only the Fiesta to beat... the polo gti is a soft comfy house compared to a 220 trophy, what else is out there ?

if they would use the independent axis front suspension setup and a limited slip diff for the cup chassis it will easily score above the fiesta in all terms... even with the same engine used as in the 220, whereas we might expect a bit of an upgrade there as well, rumors are there will be a detuned megs 1.8 used... time will tell, but the base to be used shows potential... since the same block is used either a 1.6 or a 1.8 and the manual gearbox is there ready to be used from the meg... I see no reasons not to have a come back to its former glory as a hothatch that takes it all, note the fiesta went from the cheapest of hothatches to the currently most expensive in the segment as well.

I suppose that the first R.S. Line edition will use the all new 1.3 160 TCe with either manual or EDC.

Steering wheel ala AMG:

Typical, something that works well has been deleted. I find the red stripe on the steering wheel useful when parking. I notice that the AMG still thinks it worth having. Costs virtually nothing.

The Megane interior is pretty nice! My only complaint is the crappy plastic along the lower parts of the dash. Not quite sure what they were thinking with that!

I guess we'll likely see a facelift in a year or two.

I really like the design of this car. It looks very stylish. Also, the colours are pretty nice too. I prefer orange over blue. And the interior looks great. Also, I like the shapes of the lamps. They look innovative.
