Iam suppose to pick up my new car from dealership today I had not contact from them to say my car would be late I had to phone them over three days still no answer till I went down on Saturday customer care is terrible. I was told it has been in import compound in Southampton for the last three weeks and they have no idea when I will get it

Renault customer care is indeed terrible. Curently, I'm relocated into Eastern EU for a couple of years, yet their customer care is absolutely on same level as UK one. As in complete garbage, no difference whatsoever.
