I just want my car back for the heated seats, it's been bloody cold this week LOL LOL

It doesn't need changing, it needs to be disconnected. It only needs changing if, after disconnection mod, the pressure at 2000 rpm with engine warm is lesser than 2.1 bars. Otherwise it remains there, obviously disconnected.

I tried to explain this to the service desk but it was like talking to a wall.

If the oil pressure test is below the value given the solenoid NEEDS replacement.

If it is above the value just the wiring part needs to be done.

If they are saying the solenoid is needed the oil pressure must have been below the required minimum and that's why they are keeping the car

They told me they had the part on order before the car even went in.

It could well be that the technicians have it all in hand and the service desk just don't have the info Smile

What is the length of time it takes to get the parts? Mine's been garaged for 3 weeks waiting for the oil solenoid?
Cheers Dave

Join the club. Mine's been in the dealer since 26th October... I was told the parts were expected in France on the 13th, and they take up to 10 working days to get to the dealers. That was an estimate though and I've heard nothing since.

My dealer is bricking it, Paid for it then told me parts on order 2 day delivery, 23 days later still no part and I've told them the car has devalued in that time so I want some money back or i'll have ALL my money back as can not supply the car.

Finally my car is ready to collect.

Annoyingly I caught the train in today so I don't have the courtesy car with me so I'll had to head over to get it tomorrow instead.

I'll just be glad to have it back though!

Picked it up today.

Felt amazing to drive after having a Juke for over a month!

Mine was the first they'd got back out the door, I hope that means the parts are in stock now and you'll get yours back soon!
