Some 72 owners and 50 cars spanning more than three decades attended the day (1 Oct) making for a mouth-watering, multi-coloured spectacle.

Enthusiasts were also able to test drive the new 280hp Mégane R.S.

And commented Groupe Renault UK’s Head of Press & Public Relations Matt Bendall: “We were delighted not just by the turn-out but also the enthusiasm among the R.S. community.

“The extraordinary length many owners go to in keeping their cars in pristine showroom condition never ceases to amaze and is a reminder of just how popular the UK’s R.S. community is.

“This though was an opportunity for owners to learn more about what R.S. cars are designed and developed to do and they did not disappoint – there were some very masterful performances out there!”

“Those who got behind the wheel of the latest generation Mégane R.S. also raved about the car’s looks, feel and capabilities and how it moves things on to the next level.”
