But said Howard: “I’ve kept my eyes open since first coming into the Clio Cup in 2014 and a couple of teams really stick out with their track records – Pyro is obviously one of those so I’ve jumped at the chance to join them.
“I’m excited. Lee Pattison joined them for Thruxton last year and suddenly put in on pole position. I’m not saying I can do that but I want to fight for the Masters Cup crown and it will be interesting to see what difference it might make to my performance and results. “More than anything it will be nice to have someone roughly my own age to talk to – trying to have a discussion about anything outside the Clio Cup with Ash Hand, Ashley Sutton and Brett Smith is never the easiest of tasks!”
