Edwards will race the Cataclean-liveried car that current British Touring Car ace Daniel Rowbottom drove to three race wins in 2018.
Assetto is run by Edwards’ father, former Clio Cup Champion Jim Edwards Jnr, and her brother-in-law, Simon Traves.
Edwards had contested this season’s opening six events with Team HARD, but she was forced to miss the most recent rounds at Knockhill due to financial struggles.
She commented: “I’m obviously delighted to be back on the Clio Cup grid for Silverstone and Brands Hatch and a huge thanks to Cataclean and Daniel Rowbottom for stepping in and supporting me.
“I’ve had a very constructive time with Team HARD and in fact wouldn’t have been racing at all in 2019 without their help.
“Unfortunately, recent budget constraints meant I had to miss Knockhill so we’ve been forced to come up with an alternative to keep going. The fact Assetto is family run certainly helps.”
Rowbottom said: “Cataclean and I saw Jade had missed Knockhill. She’s a good friend and we wanted to help – the car was still available so why not!?
“This also gives Cataclean double exposure at BTCC events and two cars in its colours for the crowd to follow so it’s a win-win solution all-round.”
