Edwards contested Croft’s and Snetterton’s rounds earlier this season for Mike Ritchie’s squad and was on the front-running pace at both circuits.
At Croft he came close to a maiden podium result and at Snetterton was among the fastest in official testing.
His inclusion at Silverstone and his home circuit of Brands Hatch boosts MRM’s line-up to four drivers for the closing stages of the season.
This could prove important as two of its drivers – Jack Young and Brett Lidsey – are in contention for the outright title.
Edwards’ outings will be supported by InterCleanse plus Shoreham Vehicle Auctions and Singleton Dental Implants.
The Tunbridge Wells racer commented: “I’m obviously looking forward to being back on the Clio Cup grid and particularly so at the business end of the season.
“MRM are going for both the drivers’ and teams’ titles and I’ll provide any help I can but the final rounds, with the title at stake, also present opportunity and I’ll be aiming for the best results possible for myself too.
“After Croft and Snetterton, I know we have the pace to be in the running for podium results.”
Ritchie said: “It’s great to have Nathan back – he’s an emerging talent who is capable of quickly getting in among the established names, even at this high level of motor sport.
“He definitely adds strength to our line-up for what will be two crucial race weekends."
